Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan is all set to make his acting debut. It was sometime ago that he had mentioned about getting launched in cinema and how thoroughly excited he is. This morning, he had informed all that he has completed the first schedule of the film. Now, he has shared a teaser video of sorts of his film which is titled Qala. The movie is produced by Anushka Sharma's production venture Clean Slate and stars Tripti Dimri opposite Babil.
The teaser video will leave you mesmerised. The film has been filmed at a location covered in heavy snow and it appears to be a visual treat for all. In the caption, he mentioned that he is skeptical to use the phrase 'getting launched'. He wrote, "Tripti freaking Dimri is back again!!!!!! Whooooooo!!! (and a little bit of me). Also I’m a bit skeptical about the phrase ‘getting launched’ because the audience should launch off their seats while watching our film and not any individual actor."From the creators of Bulbbul, Clean Slate Filmz and Anvita Dutt, we bring you #Qala, a Netflix Original film. Qala will be here soon to share her story of her fight for a place in her mother's heart."
Ayushmann Khurrana and many others have dropped best wishes in the comments section for Babil. Take a look at the video below:
We can't wait for Qala to release. Irrfan would be truly proud of Babil.
Last, Babil hit headlines as a video of his crying uncontrollably at Filmfare Awards 2021 as a tribute to his late father rolled out went viral on social media. (Also Read: Irrfan Khan's Son Babil Khan Reveals He Has 3 Friends In Total; Shares A Picture With The 'Oldest' One)
